Visual Annotate Snapshot

Hi All,

we are doing the POC to use visual annotate without using workflow. To do so we are trying to understand the already existing content_author_assigment workflow using VA.

we did configuration (iw.cfg and respective wft config.cfg file) and its worked for us(on click on review we are getting Visual annotate toolbar where reviewer can provide there review comments.)

Problem:
1) Reviewer review comment is not saved: when clicked on reviews we are getting the number of review of the html file but not displaying reviewed html page with comments(displaying the org html page)
2) Snapshot Location--> Revised html file is store in server? if yes then what is the location?
3) I gone through the VA thread and found that snapshot is saved as a extended attribute but in our case even the extended attribute for html file is also not saved.
4) Is the VA files are displayed in Workflow tab?(when viewing the respective job)

Teamsite Evn: TS 6.7.2/windows

Please advise it’s a problem with TS version or we missed something else.

What you're doing wrong is trying to use VA without workflow - it was designed for use with workflow so anything outside of that is most likely completely unsupported.
