How to use <allowed> at container level?

Hi,

I want to allowed specific user to edit a container.

I have used at container level but parser is not able to parse it.

Can anyone please help me out with this?

can you check the DTD once ( of your respective version)? I don't think it conforms.

The allowed element is not available at the container level, only at the "item" level (e.g.: text).
If you want to hide or make readonly the entire contents of a container based on some user credentials you could probably do it via FormAPI code - I suggest reading through the FormAPI manual and doing some tests on a simplistic DCT to figure it out.

I have created a role in teamsite now i want the role should have limited access to my DCR container.

My DCR is of "or" combination and if the user oen that container then it should be readonly.
