Import file size restrictions in Teamsite

Hi

We got a requirement, to customize the import functionality to particular branch.
We need to restrict the user not to import a file having size greater than 5 MB for /default/main/intranet_content/north_america branch.

Please suggest any clue to address this issue.

The OOTB import function does not support this - you would have to build your own custom import function to do so.

Alternatively - have your workflow(s) check the file size and "do the right thing" - although one wonders about such restrictions, especially when it is only for a particular branch as opposed to server-wide...
