Extended attributes in DCR items

Hi
In a DCR (an Xml file) we have a set of items with only one attribute i.e. name of the item.
can we associate some other attributes with these items...
for eg:
<item name="TITLE"><value>****</value></item>

i want to add another attribute to item named TITILE.

The DCR follows a fairly strict DTD - instead what you would do is define a sub-element within that item (TITLE) to hold your aditional attribute.
