How to consume dot net webservice in sitepublisher components in 7.1

Hi,

I am working in teamsite 7.1 and sitepublsiher 7.1 version. Can anyone let me know how to consume webservice in sitepublisher components. As i need to retrieve the information from dot net application and display it into sitepublisher components.

If anyone knows, please let me know your suggestions. Would be appreciated if i could get this information as soon, as i need to start the POC on this. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't matter what language the service is written in. As long as your external makes the call in an appropriate fashion and writes out the Result, it will be available to your XSLT.

Look at the LSCS component for an example of querying a webservice and doing something with the output.
