server restart issue

Hi,

We have .pages in the development environment as well as the same .pages in the runtime environment.
When We publish contents in one of the pages, the development .page gets updated whereas the runtime .page needs the server to be restarted.

Both the environments are being tied-up with the same database.

Any update regarding the same will help me a lot

have you investigated the cache settings for all the components on the page?

Deployment creates a file that signals the InvalidationMonitor to clear the cache for the pages deployed (in that file). If you have a custom workflow for deployment, make sure you are creating that file correctly and it is in the default location for the server to pickup and flush the cache (it does this every 30 seconds).
