Writing to DCR

Hi All,

I am using an .ipl to invoke Teamsite:CRparser in order to read the value an item in one DCR then write that value to another DCR. I have the read working correctly, but I am not sure how to write the value to the other DCR, can anyone please help?
What I have is (not working):
my $variable = $rootnode->value('container.item');
$test = "Hello World"
$rootnode->value('container.item') = $test;

you have to be more specific as to what are you doing and in which stage of the process are you doing it, as if you are parsing an existing DCR or changing its value, there will be one kind of technique, in the case of you just putting out a new DCR, you could just output it using open in perl and then make it a DCR by attaching an extended attribute.
