Od User password reset

Hi,

I added one user but i dont know password, please tell how can user login or how can we reset password.

iwodauthorize -r add od-admin shi0233

This user is not added in Teamsite, added in only OD.

OD does not, itself, handle passwords; instead it passes such information to the appropriate OS authentication mechanisms to determine if the credentials are correct before allowing the user to access the GUI.

root user added id "shi0233" as od-admin and id "shi0233" work as OS user.

Then in this case what password should I use.

Hi,
Try changing the the password of the user at OS level.


Logon as root user and change the password of the specified user and I hope you will be able to access OD GUI.

Try this command: passwd username.

I'd say if you don't know how to change an OS-level user's password, then you probably don't (shouldn't) have root access and shouldn't be messing around with this kind of thing on any but a development box. You may have to ask your system admin.
