set executing user of group task to the owner of next external task

Hi,

Please assume that the task will start from grouptask. One of group member "take" the task
and executes. Now, I would like to set this person, who executes the task, to the owner of next task.

Following is the sample code. What I want to do is set the executer of "Pending Approve" task to
the owner of next external task "Notify to Author".
Currently it does not behave like this, because owner is set as __TAG__('iw_user').

How can we change the code to achieve it?

#What I truely want to do is to set the executed person's email address to the sender mailaddress, which send by external task. This will be possible if the owner is set in above way.

Your support is highly appreciated.

OK I am looking into doing this exact same thing, only I can't use perl (I'm still not over it) - I have to use Java. In perl you get the pertinent jobID, taskID, so you can easily find what you're looking for and make the appropriate changes. Does anyone know what you get in a Java class that is executed from an even trigger? Do they give you the workflow object or task object? If they do, which kind of object is it? I suppose I will RTFM and see if it's in there, but I am being lazy, and I will be shocked if it actually is documented.

I've yet to figure out how to properly authenticate a command-line java program in order to write an iwat trigger script in java - if you can figure that part out, you should be passed the same information as command-line arguments as you would get for a Perl program.

Thanks. There's nothing I can see in the docs to help either. Shocking. I just wrote a new task class that is very simple to do this same thing.
