Application Server Integration

Hi,

I wish to virtualize my JSP pages on TeamSite Server by using an iPlanet WebServer running on a different machine.

For this I tried configuring [iwproxy_fullproxy_redirect] in iw.cfg using the following regular expression

[iwproxy_fullproxy_redirect]
_regex=http://[TEAMSITE_SERVER/(.*)=http://hst-pcyuk74:81/$1

But these doesn't seems to work. Its not able to even request the target machine.

I am working on TeamSite 5.5.2 on Windows NT Environment and the target machine on which iPlanet is running is also on Win NT.

Kindly help me in achieving this virtualization.

Did you also set up your browser to use the proxy? Have you read the section "Configuring TeamSite to Redirect Fully-Qualified URLs" in the TeamSite Administrator's Guide?

Also - I'm not sure if this is really what you want - I haven't done a lot of JSP redirection - I remember that it's a bit tricky, but I don't recall fullproxy being required.

Hi,

I went thorough an article on Support website titles "Using alternate Apache webserver for virtualization ", and I wanted to do the same using IPlanet WebServer.

The problem I am facing is that on the iPlanet WebServer I am not able to get the content from the mapped drive containing the teamsite content.

Kindly help.

You probably want to be using [iwproxy_preconnect_remap]:

_regex=^/(iw-mount/archive/main/branch/(STAGING|((WORKAREA|EDITION)/[^/]+))/myapp/.*)=http://otherserver Smiley Surprised

and configure the app server to expect URLs of the form /iw-mount/...
