Finish button configuration

Hi All,

Thanks in advance. We have the Finish button on the DEV TS server that transitions to the save and 'SubmitNow' and 'NewJob' dropdowns screen and the Finish button on UAT TS server that transitions to a save and close of the window.

I had looked of any tt_data wf config setting and found that none of the wfs have been configured to tt_data on both environments.

The dcts on both the environments have the same code deployed.

Can any one point me to a way here? I would like to have the same behavior of UAT on dev server.

WFM ?

There was a bug in 6.7.X where tt_data would not initiate a WFM unless there was some WFT being kicked off in available_templates.

I do not remember the exact bug but that may be the issue.

IIRC, I created a dummy entry (could never be kicked off with the combination I used) and it worked.

Thx for the reply.

I dont think this has anything to do with tt_data because I dont see any wfs that has been configured for tt_data. In other words I cant find 'tt_data' in available_models on UAT and DEV servers.

I believe this is some global configuration as it is happening to all dcts and the code for dct on dev and uat are the same.

Hi Nipper,

You are right. After changing the tt_data value in the available_templates.cfg, the Finish was able to close without initiation of new screen. Thank you very much for your help.

Just curious...is TS going to take config settings from available_templates.cfg and available_models.cfg at the same time?

Yes, I think both the new-style (WFM) & old-style (WFT) available-templates are read and "merged" by TS.

Many companies use WFT and WFM at the same time, so yea.
