file list for current workflow

Using: Teamsite 6.7.2, Workflow Modeler 1.0.1.0, Win 2003

I have a workflow that needs to take one of two paths depending on the paths of files attached. There is an external task before the two conditional paths that calls a perl file that I am trying to use to check the file paths. However, I'm not sure how to pull in the file list. I've tried:

my $wfs = TeamSite::WFsystem->new();
my $job = $wfs->GetActiveTasks();
@theseFiles = $job->GetFiles();
$oneFile = $theseFiles[0];
print LOG "oneFile: $oneFile\n";

And also:

my @theseFiles = Teamsite::WFTask::GetFiles();
my $thisFile = $theseFiles[0];
print LOG "thisFile: $thisFile\n";

Both of these cause the workflow to hang.

Any suggestions?

Sorry if this is a stupid question; I've looked through iwov's workflow documentation and did not find a clear example of how to do this.

Well the POD-docs on the ts-perl-module was available on the web but with the autonomy take-over I think this just....... wel disappeared. Why not? i would add.

Best source for the perl-doc is now the source of the modules, under iw-perl/\vendor\lib\TeamSite.

Anyway, to get the attached files of a workflow you need:

1. the task-id, which is passed to the external task as an argument.

2. create a wftask-object, using this task-id.

3. call $task->GetFiles() which "Returns a (possibly empty) array of file names.".
