The "wonderful" JavaDoc for this method reads:
[PHP] org.dom4j.Element getThisComponentModel()

Get the current runtime component's XML model

returns:
Element of the current component model
[/PHP]

This is the same XML Model that the component receives as it's input? And if so, is it modifiable?

I Know typically you can add stuff using an "external" but may need to update the xml or redirect to another page. I was hoping to put it in one place.
