ipm file compare

We try to compare ipm files with that of its previous versions. Using TS UI , when we compare - we see the entire .ipm in a single line. Instead we wanted it see it as ordered xml in a tree structure.

Can someone let me know if that is a configurable paramter.

I don't believe it is configurable (might make a good feature request to support though).

I think they keep it in one line to reduce the overall size of the file and make it load faster.

Apart from that, I have seen cases where the wf-engine breaks (throws an exception) when you feed it an ipm where the xml has been tidied. Looks like the xml-parser is phony.

Thanks for your replies. Will contact support for this. But ghoti, the one liner may be good option to overcome performance issue thought, not helpful with comparing ipm especially when I have 20 -30 tasks in a WF.
