Teamsite 5.5 button not coming up

What

In DCT there is a callout button like

It was working fine before restart of the server.
After restart it disappeared .

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you make sure all TeamSite services are up and running fine?
Can you check if you have any information captured in the logs?
What version of the browser are you using? Make sure that TS 5.5 has support for that browser and its version.

Also, mention your environment.

What are you actually using for "http://path_to_jar" - is the path on the local TS server - like "http://localhost/iw/.../test.jar" or is it something else?

I never used the java-class callout nor the java-callout element (that existed in 5.5) so I'm not positive about all the ins and outs of it - but the documentation would seem to indicate that the location should be server-specific and either a path or a jar file (you seem to be using the latter) and that you can specify additional parameters (at least for the java-callout element).

I'd still strongly recommend that you look into upgrading as soon as possible since 5.5 has been "dead" for many years (I believe it came out in 2002)

jar file path is to some remote server.
It was working previously but after restart it has stopped showing the button.
Is there any specific service that needs to be checked?

Since the Button is not visible, can I use some other action to call the window like form load or init?
If yes , how?
