Should be simple .. but (addInstance)

I am trying to build out some replicants with default values.

I have a parent (and I use setLabel, based on a value that I set), then I need to go inside and build out another series of replicants beneath, but I can't seem to get it to work.

tt's a nested for loop, but any addInstance I do inside the parent does not work.

Any thoughts on this?

item = root/sample/title/en
for (i,iitem.addInstance(i); //works fine
for (y;yitem2 = root/sample/title/en/feature
item.addInstance(j); //does not work
}

The code you posted isn't going to work for a number of reason - and the fact that you have a comment in there that something works makes me think that you posted pseudo-code rather than the actual code - so it's not worth my time to try to figure out what you really have and see if I can find the bug in it because there are too many bugs in what you posted.

If you could post the actual code (properly formatted please) - I might be willing to try to figure out what you're doing wrong - otherwise all I can suggest is: give your eyes a break and then go back to trying to debug it - it's probably "something small" that's wrong.
