TeamSite favorites
SethHickel
I have a user who seems to have his TeamSite ContentCenter favorites disappear when he reboots but they do not seem to disappear if he only logs off and closes his browser.
Questions:
1. How are these stored?
2. What the heck might be going on?
Thank you.

So ...
Favorites are stored in the entity database.
Interwoven\TeamSite\local\entities\Data
What probably has occured is corruption of this users entry in that database.
The users current_vpath was getting updated/changed but not his iw_filesys_bookmark.
So - on supports suggestion we did the following from KB 52405:
From the command-line:
iwuser -q username
Note that username must match the entry for that user in the TeamSite roles files.
Note the Entity ID number.
If the entry that needs to be removed is "20", for example, run the following command to delete the file from the entity database:
iwuser -d -loc E::20
Flush out the entity database cache by running "iwreset", which will clear the cache in iwserver.
------------
Once the entry is removed, a new one will be created the next time that the user logs in and the entire EDB does not have to be rebuilt.
