Implementing progress window for file upload

Hi,

I have created web application, which uses Interwoven COM api to upload a files to interwoven. I need show progress bar of how many bytes are transfered and how many bytes are pending. But i didn't find any methods returning the progress option in Itnerwoven API.

Is there any way that we can implement progress option for upload operation.

Depends on how is your web app is written

1. If you use activeX - you can get an exact size of your file and accordingly.

2. you can use ajax/web 2.0 dialog to show window like progress bar upon form submit - which will show the progess or plese wait.... kind of message until the upload is done.. Something like this - http://mattberseth.com/blog/2008/05/aspnet_ajax_progress_bar_contr.html
