Lengthy Filename problem in files base deployment

Hi,

I am using TS 6.7.1 and od 6.0.
I am facing one strange isssue in file based deployment. when i give lengthy file name in filelist. file list deployment will not work (File will not deploy on target) but message shows successfull deployment.
When i give small file name then deployment works properly and files also deploy on target Env.
I have attached OD config file from my CMS Env.

filelist which having max length : tmp/Learning Tools/Manager Tools/Spanish/Herramientas para el Gerente/Politica del Pago Agil PPA/Capacitacion_Rel_Pago_Agil_para_dodo_2009_SPA_Rev_6.ppt

filelist which properly deployed :
tmp/Learning Tools/Manager Tools/Spanish/Herramientas para el Gerente/Politica del Pago Agil PPA/Capacitacion.ppt

Could you please suggest, where is setting to restrict file name length?
or is it OD restriction that we can give some specific length path for Filebased OD?

Your config file specifies the source area as:

$myarea^/$WAwarpath

- how long (in characters) is that when it's fully expanded in the case where the file does not seem to get deployed?

The path you're having problems with appears to be 154 characters long - and I believe that many OS's have allow a max of 256 characters (you can find this in /usr/include/limits.h or /usr/include/sys/limits.h on Unix - not sure where you'd find it on Windows) - so if your source path evaluates to more than 256 - that might account for the problem (though OD should report it as a failure with a reasonable error message IMO).

If your source path (when fully expanded) is less than 102 characters - it's probably something else.
