I would assume that I can't just move the 6.7.2 store over to the new server with a fresh install of 7.2.1.
You can install a fresh install of 7.2.1 on Windows 2008. Copy the iw-store from old to new server, and run the Dependency Migration Tool as per thedocumentation in Web Solutions Authoring Components installation guide. See “Migrate Content to Support TeamSite Associations and Dependency Management” on page 117. Additional steps you need to remember during the copying the Content Store overto the New System. I have put them below: - Make sure you are logged in as admin on the server or as a user with root access. - If you are doing a fresh installation and copying the Content Store over to the target system, you may need to remap some local OS user/group id information. Use the iwidmap CLT to perform the remapping. Refer to the following support article for additional information:https://support.interwoven.com/kb/kb_show_article2.asp?ArticleID=49980 - Copy the tsusers.xml file from the old server to the new server. If you are using TeamSite groups on the old server, also copy tsgroups.xml. - Stop TeamSite on the new server by issuing the following command: /etc/init.d/iw.server stop - Copy in the content store from the old server (this must be a known good copy, taken with TeamSite frozen or shut-down). - Run iwtgethome/private/bin/walkArchive.pl -p -Restart TeamSite on the new server by running /etc/init.d/iw.server start
