Branch/Workarea Exists??

Hi there,

Is there any method or CLT using which it could be checked if the branch/workarea exists?

My requirement is to copy down the updated files from its parent branch to all its sub branches. I can do a iwmkbr and iwmkwa and iwupdate to copy over files from the parent branch edition; however not getting as how to check if any branch/work area exists or not?

Any help or pointer is appreciated.

Why not just look if the folder exists ?

In perl:

if (-e $dirpath) .......

If you are making the branch, then you can specify the parent edition, so you should not need to copy the files down.
