A good tool for orphan checks

brizrobbo

Hi Folks,

We use Checkbot for link checking our websites, and it all seems to work pretty well. However, one of our gaps is easily doing orphan file checks (that is, checking for files that exist on our webserver, but are not linked to from anywhere in the site).

I am after any suggestions as to how others approach this problem. Maybe they have developed a custom solution. Maybe some 3rd party software.

Any clues would be appreciated.

ps. we use apache/php/mysql under solaris 10 on our web servers

Cheers.
