Getting parsing BR error while clicking on any file in CCpro

Dear All,

The following error is coming at the browser on click of any file(DCR,XSL) inside the WA using CCPro.

If I download this file in local system and check then it doesn't give any parsing error.I am not sure why this parsing error is coming at browser.

Could anyone please help to find out the cause.

Note: These files does not contain BODY,HTML or BR elements

Check the DCR again, Your XML is not well formed.

Try configuring the smart context editor toolbar (aka visual toolbar) in the iw.cfg file to only be 'true' if you're looking at HTML files.

app_conf.xml is a "Data Content Record" and it's opening in edit mode using CCPro so I can't doubt on the "well-formed-ness" of a XML.

But if you still feel "XML is not well formed" then kindly let me know which element/attribute is not closed properly.

Issue is not associated only with html extension file,It's giving me error for all type of extension files like xml ,xsl,DCT,DCR.

Can you create a new dcr and generate it using CLT and send the output,

It is impossible to tell if the file is well formed or not because we cannot see it. You can post it and someone can look. You can also do what Ghoti said (though it sounds like you do not understand). The browser can display well formed XML outside if TeamSite.

If you do not understand what someone is telling you then ask more questions or get training (the latter is preferable)

View the DCR like this:

http://server:81/iw-mount/default/main/BRANCH/WORKAREA/Content/templatedata/Content/Page/data/Page.xml

If it renders correctly then your XML is valid

My comment was based on your initial statement:

The following error is coming at the browser on click of any file(DCR,XSL) inside the WA using CCPro.

If you do not disable the SCE toolbar, then it will attempt to inject javascript code into the stream while reading in the file data. If the file is not HTML code - this will result in some form of error showing up because its's no longer a valid stream as far as the browser is concerned. DCRs are XML not HTML - as such they cannot handle having javascript imbedded in them.
