Hi,
We are facing this issue with only one user in our system.
ERROR com.interwoven.ui.teamsite.workflow.job.NewJobCommand (user_name commandID iw.ccpro.submit) - Nothing that you have selected can be submitted. Please reselect modified or non-private files that are not locked in another workarea.

The Above error is similar to that of submitting private files. But in this case those were normal files. We removed and then again added this user several times but no luck.
We have also compared this user with existing users on same branch but there is no difference with permissions.
User is part of branch with Author role along with workarea group (OS Group) and "Restrict access to this workarea" is checked.

System Details are:
TS6.7.1
OS Win 2003 R2 SP2
Total user:700+
Groups: OS Groups.

Please provide any clues to investigate and resolve this issue!

Hi,

We are also facing the same issue with only one user system. If we are trying any userid to submit the file we are facing the same error in that particular system. Is it anything with the JRE version installed in the system.
Kindly let us know if there is any workaround for the same.

I am having this same error with only one user. Did you ever find a resolution to this? She is using TeamSite 7.2.1.0.0 and IE8 Version 8.0.6.001.18702CO. She is able to perform a submit using Firefox though.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

So any other user with same permissions can submit. Was this particular user was ever successful in submitting anything before.

To debug this, I would add a brand New user to the system with identical permissions and try submitting with his user ID. If this works, you know where the Problem is.

Hi - my apology, here is additional detail of my situation.

I have only one user that receives the following error: Nothing that you have selected can be submitted. Please reselect modified or non-private files that are not locked in another workarea.

1. We are on Autonomy Interwoven TeamSite 7.2.1.0.0 on Windows server 2008
2. Client system platform is Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3
3. The user is part of the shared workarea group, has a valid role, the files nor the folder are marked private and the files are indeed modified.
4. She is using IE8 version 8.6.6.001.18702CO (which was just uninstalled and re-installed again today)
5. She has Java Plug-in 1.5.0_22 Using JRE version 1.5.0_22 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
6. When the user is logged into MY laptop, she does not get the error. She also does not get the error when using FireFox.
7. It appears to be a machine specific issue. Other users with the same access and application versions do not get the error.
8. I looked in Autonomy Support and they have Article #59705 which is useless – all it states is:
Getting Error "Nothing that you have selected can be submitted"
While submitting a workarea without selecting any files or folder teamsite might throw this error "Nothing that you have selected can be submitted. Please reselect modified or non-private files that are not locked in another workarea. The reason for this error is that there is no modified files in the workarea and hence there is nothing to submit to the staging area.

Hi - This issue has been narrowed down to a CCPro issue, as the user does not get the error when using CCStd and is able to submit fine there. However, if anyone has any updates/resolutions on this issue I would be intereseted in knowing.
