unable to access created site/page

Hi,
I have created a test site using SitePublisher, I am able to access the site/page(home page for site created earlier) using http://testsite.com/ also i can view the xml content for the page using

http://testsite.com/sites/newsite/home.page but i am not able to pull up the page like this http://testsite.com/newsite/home.page. Where should i look for any errors ...

getting 404 error
Not Found
The requested URL /newsite/home.page was not found on this server.

Environment:
RHEL 5.2, TeamSite 6.7.2 Service Pack 1

Can you see anything on

http://testsite.com:1776/ ?

How are you redirecting from port 80 ? Do you have Apache redirects defined ?

I am trying to look up the content for pages using Livesite runtime environment,

yes we have apache config for testsite and the document root for the same is

/app/LiveSite/runtime/web/

By testing on port 1776 that shows that LiveSite is properly configured. I *think* it is by your first post, but just making certain.
