Nipper, Thanks for the inputs but here I am talking about custom page type and not the fixed area layouts. My problem is to have "My Custom Layout" heading appearing in the drop down list of the Page Type (that appears while creating a new page). It would be great if you may kindly show an example to what you are emphasizing on.Regards,Acezone
OK. I do not have that directory on my server either so I do not know what else to tell you .
With 7.2 and beyond, IW-HOME/httpd/webapps/content_center/WEB-INF (and the whole webapp) is moved to use jboss under typically /Interwoven/ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-cc.war.To get something from the livesite_customer_src build into the iw-cc.war/WEB-INF folder, you would put it into livesite_customer_src/etc (or etc/conf/...) and run "build install".
Acezone,Please check the logging when you run build.bat file, it will show all the xsl files which are getting included while you build toolkit.Post that reset the IW server it would pick the layouts freshly created.CheersManu
Manu, I am clear with the thought you mentioned, but the problem out here is that when the build is executed, it is a partial success that means only few location files get updated but not all. So the question is how to fix the issue to make the build fully successful.Regards,Ace
Hi All, I had done this in my project and successfully implemented in TS 7.2.1 (linux). A lot of effort i kept to resolve my self by understanding how this can be worked out.I can resolve this.Find attached file with modification and inline comment where i have changed and you search the comments by "Naresh"Series of steps you need to do1)Place the pagetype-config.xml ( content_center/livesite_customer_src/etc/conf/livesite_customer)2)Run build file(build.bat in livesite_customer_src folder)3)Check the build is successful or not4)After successful build you can go and test this by creating a page and you can see your custom page-typeThis customization is only for previewing the .page and Generating HTML,JSP,ASP etc you can't see this style-sheet applied in edit mode. This is how Interwoven works. The code fix i provided is for only DIV layout Even i find very difficult when i started in my project, this is because very poor documentation of Interwoven. For any sort of customizations on page-type you can reach me at naresh881@gmail.comCheers....guys
Hi Naresh, Thanks for providing your inputs on the same and for your information I am well-versed with creation of page-type of different layouts. Here my question is not about how to create page-type layouts, but as I run successful build still layout type is not getting generated with layout name. I think, I should better raise my concern with Autonomy for the same / I should now look for locations in filesystem to update the files manually. Regards,Ace
Can you send me the detailed steps your are doing at your endand attach the build logs too.
