Mediabin Server Login Issue

Hi,

I am facing a problem in logging to Mediabin server

>>When i try to login through MediaBin Enterprise Manager.I get following Error

The Server is Currently not running,Would you like to restart It?
Whereas mediabin service is already running.

>>When i try to loing through MediaBin Client, I'm getting following error.

Unable to connect to server.
Reason:The Mediabin Server is not running. (0x8004043c).

>>In Log File I'm getting following Error.

Warning: Server is running as SYSTEM.
Failed to obtain a database connection after 25 tries
Repository could not allocate configured number of connections.

We had reset Mediabin User DataBase (MB_User) Password.I have even changed the password of LocalOdbcPassword From Registry.
And Odbc Connection is showing Sucessfull.

Kindly guide me to overcome this issue.

Hey mate, im having same issue. odbc test succeeds. but log says cant connect after 25 tries. What did you do to fix it?

MB server details ?
Check your server status ? up or down ?

Did you change the DB credentials ?

MB 8 - Win Server 2008
Oracle 11g rel 2.
DB Server is up. I can connect to it separately.
No DB credentials have changed, this is a fresh install.
I want to renter credentials, in case they were entered right during the final configuration step.
Where does MB store the db credentials? are they in the registry?

If i want to run that final step, do I have to delete some config table in db first?

Update the DSN configured for VMB and the registry settings related "Repository" under MediaBin Server registry path.

When you run 64 bit make the changes in
HKLM/Software/Wow6432Node/MediaBin,Inc./MediaBin/Platform/ CurrentVersion/Repository. Make the value in LocalOdbcdataSourceName match with the ones in HKLM/Software/Wow6432Node/ODBC/ODBC.ini

Mediabin doesn't uses the ODBC DSN files created through the ODBC data Source Mananger in Windows. It only reads the registry, so your DSN might work but double check the registry.

I'm in the process of upgrading a 4.6 to 7.2 and I find myself hacking in Registries and Databases to get things working....
