Required to login for each approval

I have an approver who is required to login for each approval notification email she receives.

Does this sound like a browser issue or user issue within TS?

It seems like her user session is not being retained.

Usually one has to login for an email session once every 24 hours - assuming that when they're done they do not explicitly logout.

Are you saying that within a 24-hour time span this user has to login multiple times when interacting with the workflow emails - and that they are not logging out in between?

(the normal desktop browser-login and the email browser login use distinct cookies - so logging into one does not authenticate you in the other)

Check whether the same issue is coming on different browser and with different users. If no then this is browser issue. Make sure your browser should have default settings.
Are you login by clicking on link given in notification mail?

@ghoti - yes, within one 24hr period, this supervisor must login for each approval. And no, she is not loggin out in between approvals.

When she receives an email approval notification, it requires login, which as you mentioned, is different than logging into Teamsite for normal content development.

But each email notification is requiring her to login every time.

@Faizi - I will have her try an alternate browser. And yes, she is prompted to login when she clicks the "finish" link in the notification email.

What happens if the user opens a browser and goes to the TS server ? Kill the browser and do it again ?

Anything in the logs that says the user was logged out by the system? Did the user clear her cookie/cache after each session? She can have the setting in her browser that clears the cookie each time she closes the browser.

This, or maybe her browser is set to reject all cookies without asking.

Wow... now that you mention that, I just logged into our TS server. Closed IE. Opened IE, and it said "the session has expired" and is requiring me to login agin..

This is not the email workflow, but is actally logging into the CCPro Teamsite interface.
