Cannot open old workflow model with 7.3.1 (Workflow created with 6.7.2 SP2)

I've recently installed TeamSite 7.3.1 Update 1. I'm trying to open a workflow model that was created with TeamSite 6.7.2 SP2.

I've saved the old workflow (.ipm and .xml files) to my PC.

When I try and open it using the "Select a model file to import" dialog box, I select the .ipm file and click "Import" it just keeps popping up a dialog box that says "Select a model file to import".

I've tried on Firefox 9.0.1, Chrome 16.0.912.75, Internet Explorer 8 (I don't have access to 9 at work) and event Internet Explorer 6.

Can anyone suggest how I can import or load the old workflow into 7.3.1?

I've still not been able to use Workflow Modeler's import method, but I did manually copy the files over between the servers and then opening it and re-saving it to the server appears to have worked.

Manually copying will not work. The new WFM uses JSON to store information which is new. I have not tried to import anything into the new system but I expect this will be a requirement.

What happens when you try the import ?

Actually manually copying the files did work, however, you do need to open the workflow (via Retrieve from server) and then re-save it back to the server. It will then generate the .JSON file.

When trying to import the locally saved file it didn't do anything, except kept prompting to import the file. It didn't appear to even attempt to send the file to the browser.

Did you make sure that pop-ups are not block from that server? Sometimes when nothing happens, the browser could be waiting for a pop up to retrieve some information.
