Replicant for DD
GoldenState
Hello:
In the Datadeploy manual, it only mentioned examples for DAS to delploy replicants to Database from EA. Does anybody has an example to deploy DCR replicants to DB (update...not creating new Table)?
Thanks

Sure thing. Check out this config.
<group name="pk" table="pk_table" root-group="yes">
<attrmap>
<column name="id" data-type="int" value-from-file="id" allows-null="no" is-url="no" />
<keys>
<primary-key>
<key-column name="id"/>
</primary-key>
</keys>
</attrmap>
</group>
<group name="test" table="test_table" root-group="no">
<attrmap>
<column name="id" data-type="int" value-from-field="id" is-replicant="yes" allows-null="no" is-url="no"/>
<column name="paragraph" data-type="varchar(4000)" value-from-field="test/[0-10]/paragraph" is-replicant="yes" allows-null="no" is-url="no"/>
</attrmap>
<keys>
<foreign-key parent-group="pk">
<column-pair parent-column="id" child-column="id"/>
</foreign-key>
</keys>
</group>
The above is a sample config that will deploy a replicant to a relational databse. The pk database contains the key field id which maps the record to all its replicants. The test table contains all the replicant data.
Hope this helps!
