Deployment Permission issue

I am using OOTB deployment task to deploy XML files to WebSphere server. But the execution fails giving the following logs

I donot think so.Does every user has to be a root user in order to use the work flow for deployments ?

No. Either the OpenDeploy process needs to be run as root, or you need to follow the explicit instructions in the manuals about how you configure deployments when running as "non-root".

It is causing because of keeping group and user attributes as "root" in permissionsRule element in my deployment descriptor. After removing it i donot see the issue.

Please share your od logs. Whatever you has shared doesnt cover much information to identify the issue.
