Is the ILog module installed with Teamsite anything to do with IBM's WebSphere ILog

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. I've searched and been unable to find it.

We are going through a Licensing Audit and the Auditor is insisting that the Interwoven ILOG module in TeamSite 6.7.2 (See the Install Manual, Chapter 2 for TS 6.7.2) is an instance of IBM's Websphere ILog software, rather than Interwoven software with a similar name - and we need proof of an additional license from IBM for it.

This is despite providing the Auditor with a copy of the Install manual and references to the pages that discuss it.

Is there any other place or documentation which we could use to prove definitively that Interwoven ILOG is different software than IBM Websphere's ILog?

No they are different. This came out in 2007 or so, and Interwoven was licensing it from someone else who later was purchased by IBM (IIRC).

Try getting something official for HP Autonomy Interwoven via Support or your local Sales Rep or some such.

I don't think you'll be able to find anything in any published document that says "Oh, and by the way, this ILog is not IBM's ILog"

IBM bought Ilog in 2009, however 6.7.2 was released before then, Interwoven had licenses JRules from Ilog BEFORE IBM bought them.

Thanks for the information everyone; we had sort of thought that was the case and managed to convince the auditor of it.
I had contacted the sales rep originally, but as this was a 'technical' question he was unable to assist.
