StartDeploy.sh Failing

Hi Everyone,

Environment: TeamSite 7.1, LiveSite 7.1, OpenDeploy 7.1, Solaris 5.10.

After the installation of TeamSite, LiveSite, OpenDeploy triggering startdeploy.sh script from [LSCSAuth-Home]/authoring/bin throws the below error:

Could someone please tell, why this error is coming up.

Am I missing any jars ? Are any jars conflicting ?

Hey Naveed,

You need to verify few things first, is your authoring.xml configured correctly? is OD and access services are up and running?
Did you tried to recycle all instances once after installation? How about normal OD deployments, are they working with out any issues? Do you have LSDS runtime installed and configured at your OD Base?

Thanks Basheer for reply. Yes I do have configurations set up properly. It was problem with my startdeploy.sh file where TS_HOME path was wrongly set.

But now getting another error when I run startdeploy.sh script as follow:

That would imply OpenDeploy Errors. Look through the lscs logs on both the sender and receiver.

got fixed above error by correcting deploy-source.properties with correct cssdk.cfg file path.

But this time getting below error triggering startdeploy.sh:

Surprisingly it is deploying to production(10.16.120.149) though I passed parameter as preview

You LSCS import failed check the receiver and the LSCS.log on the receiver.

DB issue or no license are two of many possibilities.

Also make sure the lscs-authoring.xml (on the TS server) is setup correctly, since the ODHOME/conf/lscs/* config files tend to use the information in there to determine what they do on the target side of the deployment (e.g.: host and port information for LSCS)
