New to Autonomy - help please - urgent

Hi,

I have an experience in opentext Livelink.
Now a new project came to us to work on Autonomy Interwoven.
1).Can any one suggest me some very basic documents to know about autonomy Interwoven.
2).What is meaning of terminologoies teamsite,idol etc..?
3).Whether autonomy supports .net/Java and if both..which one is more feasible ? Please provide me with some documents.

Basic Document is Content Center Professional Guide
Have a look at Autonomy website for more information on each product and need for each product, what it does?............
Autonomy supports both Java and .net. It will be decided based on your requirement.

Ask your company to get autonomy account to get those documentation. This is discussion/solution forum.

Customsation can be done using Java, not sure on .net(I never tried).
But both pages can be generated using Teamsite. But preview wont work unless you do some customization for JSP and ASPX pages
Check in your organisation itself for the help and support on driving and implementing the project. or Hire some one who knows very well Interwoven.

Some basic documentation that you should look over are the TeamSite and OpenDeploy Installation Guide. The TeamSite Installation guide is probably call Web Author Solution Installation Guide or something similar. They don't call that document TeamSite installation guide anymore. Another useful document would be to look through the TeamSite and OpenDeploy Administration Guide.
TeamSite --> The web content management software Interwoven created
Idol --> Search engine created by Autonomy that bought out Interwoven, now integrated with TeamSite
OpenDeploy --> The mechanism used to move files from the content contributor to the webserver
Sitepublisher --> Interwoven's attempt to make content contributors use xml/xslt (drag and drop) components for developing webpages
LiveSite --> The runtime engine to display the components and templates
Mediabin --> Interwoven's digital asset management software
CSF/Access Service --> service used by OpenDeploy Admin to validate user

Interwoven software supports Java out of the box on version 7.2.1 and below. 7.3.1 Supports .net out of the box, but will need configuration to work with 7.2.1 and below.
