Non-frozen backups ?

has anyone tried the non-frozen backups in 731 ? It was newly supported in 731 and I am curious if people trust it yet ?

I've never managed to get a functional copy of a content store without first freezing/deactivating it, even when it's 2am and there's nobody in the system. It's corrupted every single time. I'd be curious to see what happens if you attempt a copy at mid-afternoon peak time.

I tried it and it actually takes longer if the content store is heavy or continuous write operation are happening on the store.

is that in 7.3.1/2 ?
We're just working with 7.3.2 and were keen to try it.

It is supported in 7.3.2 IF you have TS on a SAN disk and can break the SAN and do a backup of the break. Check the docs, but it was less helpful than originally thought IMHO
