Component Framework

Hi All,

We are using Teamsite 7.1 on Unix environment.
We keep getting request from business for new components. Most of the time components are similar with very small difference in between them.
Insted of creating different components for every small changes, we are looking for a approach/framework which will help us to use existing components to create similar componets.

Please share your thoughts.

There is no magic bullet.

You are supposed to gather your requirements before you write a component and then make it extendable. You either have to predict what they are going to want (which a good developer can do to a certain extent) or just keep copying and changing the components.
