J-Query calls in side the page layout / component

JS calls in side the page layout or component is not loading on .page load ,
but it loads the .js files at .page preview .page generation (It is always showing the
on loading message at on .page load

Did you deployed the BrightcoveExperiences.js and verify that
BrightcoveExperiences.js is attached to the page in the allowed resources.

Most of the times one forgets to attach to .page, you can verify in the source code of the page if you have the .js reference loading or not.

That's because your library (jQuery) conflicts with the library used by SitePublisher for component editing (ExtJS). I know the search on here sucks but try a search for 'jquery' and/or 'extjs' and I'm sure you'll end up on one of my lengthier explanations. The short version is, stick to progressive enhancement principles and build a version that works without JS for viewing in edit mode. Attempting to get jQuery and ExtJS to live happily together, or converting your code to ExtJS, is probably a giant waste of your time.
