TS 6.5 SP2 compatibility with internet explorer 8

Hi,

We have Teamsite 6.5 SP2.
There appears to be an issue with Interwoven text area feild whereas every hyperlink that does not start “http://” automatically gets added with “about:” which makes the link broken.
We face this problem only in IE 8 and worked fine with IE6.

Are there any solution to this.

IE 8 was not supported for 6.5,

6.5 was released in 2006 or so, IE6 was the standard.

IE7 worked with 6.5 but I would not be surprised if IE8 worked perfectly

You should implement javascript code to remove the "about:" from the link . Something like this.

[PHP]
str= textarea value;
var index=str.indexOf("about:");
while(index != -1){

str = str.replace("about:"," ");

index=str.indexOf("about:");

}
Now return the str value to text area;
