Workflow Modeler Email Task XML

Hi everyone, first time posting on here so I'm hoping this doesn't seem like a dumb question. I'm working with Workflows for the first time and I'm attempting to customize the email template. Is there any way I can get ahold of the XML the workflow is sending to the Email Task so I canlook at what I'm working with for customization? Knowing the XML structure would make things a lot easier than trying to decipher the sample xsl templates

Use <xsl:copy-of select="/" /> to print the contents of the whole input, and then view source on what gets sent out.
