How can we read content.properties file dynamically ?

I am reading parameters from content.properties file that is inbuilt livesite property file by hardcoding its path

as

String propFile = "/mnt/SATA/Interwoven/LiveSiteDisplayServices/runtime/web/conf/livesite_customer/content.properties";

 

Its there any way we can pick this property file dynamically without hardcoding as to make it enviroment independent .

The ideal solution would be to define your object as a Spring bean, and then you can inject the property into it:

<bean id="mycompany.myObjectThing" class="com.mycompany.MyObjectImpl">
  <property name="thatConfig" value="${something.prop.name}" />
</bean>

 

..but I suppose the direct answer to your question is something like

String path = context.getRequest().getServletContext().getRealPath("/conf/livesite_customer/content.properties");
