Could not open manifest/ PT complie error on preview - TS 7.4.1

Hi,

We have migrated from TS 7.2 to 7.4. We have some content of TS 6.7 also that we have migrated as it is to the new Teamsite server but are facing problems on Preview. When we try to preview a DCR or HTML page generated from DCR it throws PT compilation error.

Is this issue related to configuration during migration?

Most likely, yes. In particular, file system paths are not the same in 6.7 versus 7.x, but any number of other things maybe different. Your TPLs will likely need some adjustment (though this could also be a permissions issue).

Any suggestions where I could see to find the solution?

There are 100 different possibilities

Log in to the server as the user in question and try running iw_pt-compile.ipl. or find the person who wrote the TPL or is supposed to maintain them.

Our issue got Resolved. Here is what we did:-

In iwutild.cfg located at iw-home/etc change impersonate flag to false from true. Do a iw-reset –a to implement the changes.
EG: <command name="iwpt_compile"
path="E:\Interwoven\TeamSite\bin\iwpt_compile.ipl"
script="E:\Interwoven\TeamSite\iw-perl\bin\iwperl.exe"
impersonate="false"/>
