W2K TS 5.0.1; W2K client. Using LaunchPad applet.
New user answered "no" to prompt about install for LaunchPad. Now, when user tries to import files in TS, user sees only gray screen.
How do we get this user back to the prompt regarding LaunchPad? Will answering "yes" instead help with Import problem?

I am sure you will get better and accurate answers in this forum but I thought of sharing a quick way to resolve. Clear the cache and cookies and try again. This time click yes for Launchpad install from Interwoven. This should do the trick.

Thanks. We tried that, but to no avail. The extra part in what you suggested was explicitly deleting cookies. To test on my own machine, I deleted all cookies I could find that referred to IW on all the TS servers I connect to, but no matter what, when I launch TeamSite, I don't get prompted to download or install anything.

OK, one more try.
In the workarea view, in TeamSite gui menu, click on "List Local Files" option from the "View" dropdown menu.
Let me know if this prompts for launchpad?
