CSSDK Multiple CSJavaFactory

I'm trying to build a standalone Java utility application that needs to be able to communicate with multiple (2) TeamSite servers via CSSDK. The app would be run on one of the TS servers. My initial attempt was to use a CSJavaFactory as this allows local and remote comms, however I have noticed that for some reason IW have implemented the CSJavaFactory as a singleton (1 per JVM) so if I need to create 2 CFJavaFactory instances to two TS servers then it fails because it uses the configuration of the first one called.

As a workaround to this limitation I've managed to get it working by configuring one of the factories to use a CSSOAPFactory for the local and CSJavaFactory for the remote. Couldn't get the CSLocalFactory to work.

I could change the config properties files for each of the servers to all use the SOAPFactory but we've seen performance issues with that, hence trying to standardise on CSJavaFactory. Has anyone else experienced this or does it sound like I'm doing something wrong?

Wow, holy **** that's annoying. I can confirm your findings even in 7.2.1, so it doesn't look like an upgrade will help you. I looked at whether you could subclass/rewrite CSJavaFactory to dispatch to the same objects, but all of the services it depends on are also singletons, all the way down to the SCI. I can only imagine there was some kind of design restriction at the SCI level that made them go this route, because that's very impractical for use cases such as yours. For now though, I think you're SOL, sorry.
