Sending DCR/data to the LSCS and read it

Hi,

I am new to interwoven, can any tell me the process to send the DCR data to LSCS runtime, I know I can go with using PLC workflow, do we have any thing else to do Like any config changes.

Also, how to read that data from LSCS mean please share any example for LSCS query to read that data.

I suggest you read through the manuals and/or take some training.

That being said, the PLC workflow takes care of sending the content to LSCS, and you use REST calls/queries to retrieve the information from LSCS on the runtime side. (If you search the forums, you should be able to see a number of examples)

If you want to continue in this thread I suggest you inclue more detailed information:

What are you trying to actually accomplish

But first, I would suggest reading the manuals and, if possible, getting some training from HP (or anyone else who offers such training)

Thanks Ghoti for some input, the version is 7.3.2 and installed in linux environment...

there is .net application using angularJS in which some part of the site needs the content to be filled by the content contributor for which they want interwoven content template ie DCT\DCR and that to be used by the .net application.

what I was thinking is to send the DCR data to LSCS and through LSCS query give that data to .net app

Please suggest some better way.

It's not a question of a better way - what you proposed sounds like the standard way to do things (I'm not an expert in DotNet nor, for that matter, LiveSite, but ...)

The issue is that you need to make sure you have everything configured correctly for the standard process of using the PLC workflow - and for that I recommend that you go through the manuals and search the forums if you run into any problems.

Did you already setup the whole LSCS infrastructure that's required to make it work with teamsite ?
