Editor role unable to edit files

Hi,

I have added a new user from OS database as an Editor on a particular branch. however this user is unable to get any option either to add or edit any files.

I have given Full Control(RWXDPO) to the user on the folder.

Kindly advice.

There is lot of things you need to check. A few would be :

- Is the user visible in tsusers.xml file ?

- You add the user to groups of the branch ? Or

- You added the correct role with Edit permissions to the user on that branch ?

- You can also check the permission of the user using CLT, iwaccess.

iwaccess check-permission <vpath> -user <user> -op Edit
- You sure you checking the Workarea for Edit permission Smiley Wink (Have seen cases were users going to STAGING area and saying, they cant edit)

You have any errors in the log when login with that user ?
