File locked error for an unlocked file

Hi,

A user which had some files locked was inadvertently deleted.
Created that user again with same privileges but whenever the user tries to edit the file it says that its locked by
The file is not locked, and when its edited there's a key mark across that file but still TeamSite doesn't allow the file to be edited.

Has anyone come across this problem.

Can a Master unlock ?

Sounds like a bug I have never seen before.

if Master can't then give a try with CLT try something like for ex. unlock all .jsp files

find .../workarea/folder-name -name "*.jsp" -exec ./tshome/bin/iwunlock {} \;

Might be a strange recurrence of the stale locks problem of 6.x? Try running iw-home\private\bin\iwstalelocks on the branch.

I think you need to run iwidmap to map the old-id to the new-id so that they'll be treated as being the same user. (Remember to deactivate and reactivate the store after doing the iwidmap - in order for it to take effect)

@nipper Yes, the master can unlock the file and others can edit too. Its something wrong only with that ID.

Will run the iwstalelocks and if that doesn't solve will run iwidmap.

Will repost if any of these solve the problem.
