Adding Meta Title, KW, and Description fields to page.
Hello all... Finally dipping my toes into SitePub and had a few questions.
First off, yes, I did search the forum and found some direction, but not a full answer.
TS 7.3.1
Created a new branch, have a layout, built a few .page files, and generated a few HTML files.
I see in the page settings, you can assign a "TItle" to the page, which after generating the HTML page, and viewing the source code shows a proper "SEO" title tag.
I read in a few other posts, that there is an installed component located in: iwadmin/main/spars/WORKAREA/Installed/developer/component/Interwoven/Developer Tool/Code Samples
There is: Set Page Title and Keywords.componenet
I dug into the XML of said component, and looks straight forward... a few things I dont recognize, but not complicated.
So, here is where my limted experience comes into play.
I created a new page, and located this component. I dragged it onto the page, but was only able to put it into one of the dropzones on the layout.
Which wasnt ideal, but am only testing so who cares.
Anyway, in the component properties, there isnt an actual area to add text for a Title, or Keywords field.
I know it is an example, but shouldnt it function?
When I click on the actual component, I get a http 403 error.
And considering I dont want this component on the actual page itself, where would I put this component on the page?
OR
Is there somewhere in the layout, or page type that I need to set these variables before creating an actual page?
thx
