Over what? CCPro or CCStd?
I've only used it a bit (I've been on a project with 7.2.1 now for a while, so I haven't had much chance) - and it seemed to me that it was an improvement over CCStd.
However, I haven't had to deal with it for any sufficient period of time to understand the effect of being able to customize the UI on a per-user basis and then having to provide support for users who do so (that was the part that concerned me when I initially read about it)

I was actually refering to CCPro. (I did not bother to look at CcStd or 'Teamsite' as it now seems to be named)

The "TeamSite" UI is, I believe, primarily a replacement for CCStd - in which they attempted to allow incorporation of certain features and functionality that previously required CCPro.

I think most master / admins will still primarily use CCPro, but I think it's possible that authors, editors, and some admins might prefer the new TeamSite UI.

Again, I haven't played with the new UI that much so I cannot really comment on it's pluses and minuses - but if you're going to evaluate it I think you have to start by comparing / contrasting it with CCStd, then look at its potential as a substitute / replacement for CCPro

I think he's asking if anybody likes the UI change to CCPro (and other screens as well) that was introduced in 7.3.2, where the header takes considerably more real estate than it did in previous versions.

I'm not a fan of wasting that much screen space on cosmetics, but I do appreciate the attempt at standardizing the look and feel a bit more.. I haven't played with it much yet, but I'd probably attempt to tweak it some via CSS.

I've heard that it's there to stay for the eventual 8.x series, so you might as well get used to it. Smiley Tongue

I have been doing some research with 7.3.2 and we are in process of getting final approval for 7.3.2. I see not significant changes for ccpro but for teamsite/ccstd view yes there are substantial chagnes like for ex: portlets where editor can drag and drop, Folders and Content Items are new additions which are good to have and important actions like Localize, use last approved, versions etc. Otherwise the brand UI is good if that works with out issues. I had intial UI issues with teamsite ui with merged_ui config.
