Use of SitePublisher to create and manage .NET based websites without LiveSite

Hi - can anyone confirm if it is possible to use SitePublisher to facilitate generation of .aspx pages and render the same on a website environment that will not have LiveSite infrastructure.

I just need to know if anyone implemented it successfully.
