Issue with Search

Hi

When i do any search in our Server, It says Particular Branch is not Indexed for search,
I did iw.tsindex stop & iw.tssearch stop & Restarted with Index & Checked whether Indexing is happening to all Branches. As is see there is no indexing happening to few branches & later started with Search server. Still i get this error,
The branch //xxxxxxxxxx/default/main/ThisBranch is not indexed for search.
Did any face the same issue or any pointer would be helpful.

In branch.cfg, i had my branch assigned, & when i ran iwndxstatus, i see my branch is Unindexed, my guess is when we start iw.tsindex, it should go through branch.cfg & display all indexed branches. Any other hints would be helpful.

Are you using IDOL or verity search engine?
you can change logging level to debug in search.properties, restart index & search and monitor the indexing process.

if all fails you can use purge command and iwndxaddbr to re-add the branch.

We are using verity search engine,
Did the second step too...Later added branches via clt too...but still its not indexing branches.

Is there any CLT command to clear all Index files other than rm . I mean...I searched in pdf's and other threads too..

When i try to clear all index files associated to Branches, Still i gets back with same issue. Job Complete but branch is still not indexed

look at search.properties for collections directory for index agents. take back up of it, remove the contents and start indexing all the branches.

you can also search for "collections directory" in autonomy support site to find more detailed steps on how to handle indexed collections.
